Going Medieval: How to install gamepad tools to fix your gamepad issues
1. Download file from above link. Extract downloaded file to a well know folder (downloads for example)
2. Choose from extracted folder the version of Windows or Game
3. Example: Choose 64 bits games or 32 bits games
4. Copy exe file from inside to game folder and run it.

5. Now run the x360ce_64.exe and if you get this message:
DLL File - Xinput1_3.dll was not found, then select CREATE, then save and it is done.
6. Now the game should work fine with your gamepad.

You need to use Search on internet option, wait few seconds then Finish.

Run x360 again and select Game Settings, then select all these:
COM - PIDVID - STOP - LL - SA - WT - 64 bit v9.1, v1.1, v1.2, v1.3, v1.4
Then Apply Settings (5)

I say that Going Medieval works great on: GeForce GTX 1080 Ti, Radeon RX Vega 64, GeForce GTX 980, Radeon R9 Fury
But the game also can be played decent with: GeForce GTX 1050 or Radeon RX 460
